11/22/2010***UPDATE*** St. Mary's - Beverly Home Games
Please note the schedule change for all Varsity Boys and Varsity Girls games at Memorial Middle School in Beverly. Varsity Boys games will start at 6:30PM. Varsity Girls games will start at 8:00PM. The original schedule posted to the website had this order of games reversed. The website now reflects the correct schedule. The JV Girls games are not affected. If you need "door-to-door" directions to Memorial Middle School (or any gym for that matter), click on the Locations link at the top of this page.
11/17/2010Seating at St. Pius JV Home Games
The St. Pius V home games will be played at Breed Middle School again this year. The school has two gyms. JV games will be played in the upstairs gym, while Varsity games will be played in the downstairs gym. The downstairs gym has bleachers, but the upstairs gym does not. Fans coming to Breed Middle School to cheer on their JV teams may want to bring portable chairs to these JV games.
11/5/2010Team Schedules Are Complete
The team schedules have been posted and should be accurate. If you find an error, please send a e-mail to info@nscesbl.com so that we can correct it. Because the schedule can and does change, it is important that you visit the website frequently to view the most current schedules.
Did you know that if you click on a game on the schedule you will get detailed driving directions to the gym? You will even see a Google Map where you can enter your home address and have "customized" door-to-door driving directions provided for you! It couldn't be any easier to find those far away gyms!

1/13/2009New Home Page Functionality
We have modified the NSCESBL home page to allow you to quickly find the scores for a particular team. To find all of the scores for a particular team, all you need to do is click on the team's name in the Standings section of the home page and you willl be taken to a page with every score for every game that this particular team has played in the current season. At the bottom of this team specific SCORES page is a link to create a Printable Page in an easy to read format on your printer.
We hope that this modification makes it easier for you to navigate the site and find the infomation that you need. If you have any comments or suggestions on how to improve our web site, please send them to

You may have noticed that we have a section of this website that is dedicated to photos of our athletes, coaches, and their fans. Well, we need your photos to fill that section up. Send us action shots from your games. Send us your team photo. You can even send us a photo of your mascot (if you have one)! While the NSCESBL website does not have the same number of eyeballs looking at it as Google does, we're not doing too badly over here in our little corner of this place that we call the World Wide Web. Effective immediately - you no longer have to remember that clumsy website address that we were originally saddled with. Now when you want to check on the latest scores, standings, schedule updates, and news, just think of our league. We are pleased to announce a new feature on the NSCESBL website. It is called ASK THE OFFICIAL and is found by clicking on the NEWS link located at the top of any page. Do have a rule that you would like clarified? Is there a facet of the game that is keeping you awake at night? Then submit your question to Ken Foster at
kenfos@comcast.net. You may see your question answered here on our site. Please remember that the purpose of this feature is to educate everyone, not to overrule a referee.

The current 2008-2009 North Shore Catholic Elementary School Basketball League rules are now available. You will find a link to download this important document on the bottom of the home page (below the standings). Each team should download a copy of these rules for their records.
